Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Greenbar (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Greenbar is a conference tracking and troop management platform for Boy Scout unit leaders. The Service is available via web at greenbar.ai and as an iOS mobile application. The Service helps leaders track conferences, monitor scout advancement, manage meetings, and generate AI-powered insights about troop health.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. The Service is designed for adult Scout leaders. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and an authorized adult leader within a scouting organization.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all data you enter, including scout information.

5. Scout Data and Parental Authorization

The Service allows you to enter and manage personal information about scouts in your unit, some of whom may be minors. By entering scout data into the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You have appropriate authorization from your scouting organization to enter and manage this data
• You have obtained, or your organization has obtained, any necessary consent from parents or guardians as required by applicable law and organizational policy
• You will maintain the accuracy of scout information and promptly correct any inaccuracies
• You will respond to parent or guardian inquiries about their child’s data in a timely manner
• You will not enter scout data for any purpose other than scouting program management

We act as a data processor on behalf of you and your organization. You and your organization are responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing scout data and for complying with applicable privacy laws.

6. Organization and Data Ownership

Data entered into the Service belongs to the organization that created it. Organization owners control access by inviting and managing members. When you leave an organization, you lose access to that organization’s data.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Greenbar offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe (web) or Apple’s App Store (iOS).

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds for web subscriptions are handled by Stripe. iOS subscription refunds are handled through Apple.
• We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers retain their current pricing until their next renewal.

8. AI Features

The Service includes optional AI-powered features (AiSM) that generate insights and suggestions. These features are provided as-is and are not a substitute for professional judgment. AI suggestions are clearly labeled in the interface. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Enter false or misleading information about scouts or leaders
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations’ data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion includes a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the request. After the grace period, your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted.

If you are the sole owner of an organization, you must transfer ownership or delete the organization before your account can be fully deleted.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
